Science doesn't have to feel like another box to check.

What if science felt like play?

But with purpose?

Teaching science shouldn’t be the thing that breaks you.

Let’s be honest, science often feels like one more thing to squeeze in.

It’s not that you don’t value it. It’s that your day is already overflowing.

And the thought of planning one more subject (with standards, materials, and assessments)? It’s enough to make anyone want to skip it altogether.

But science can be different.

It can feel light, joyful, and deeply connected to what you're already doing. The Rooted in Wonder Science Collection™ isn’t an add-on.

It’s a gentle support system that integrates seamlessly with your existing routines and rhythms, so that science becomes part of the classroom flow, not a disruption to it.

You don’t have to reinvent your schedule. You don’t need a fancy lab setup. You just need a guide that meets you where you are and helps you build from there.

  • The Teacher’s Companion — your step-by-step map for integrating science seamlessly into your daily rhythm without adding more hours to your prep.

  • Integrated, Not Add-On — outdoor explorations, indoor adaptations, and cross-curricular ideas mean science becomes part of your whole day, not something squeezed into a corner.

  • Prep Once, Teach for Years — print, laminate, add Velcro or magnets, and you’ll have a library of ready-to-use resources season after season.

  • 27+ Ready-to-Teach Themes — from bats to pollinators, weather to rocks and minerals, each one packed with inquiry-based activities that connect across all domains.

It’s not magic. It’s just more natural.

It doesn’t ask you to start over, it meets you right where you are.

It honors your wisdom, your instincts, and the classroom you’ve already built.

The Rooted in Wonder Science Collection™ was designed to feel like a deep breath. It works because it isn’t rigid. It’s rooted. In rhythm, in curiosity, in the quiet magic of noticing what’s already happening in your day.

It works because it meets you in the classroom you already have, with the students already in front of you, and helps you teach from a place of curiosity, calm, and connection.

And most of all, it works because it trusts you.

To lead with intention. To follow the wonder.

And to know that when we slow down and make space for connection, the learning always follows.

What If the Answer Isn’t Doing More… But Doing It Differently?

You’re tired of science lessons that feel like busywork or extra prep.

You want to meet the standards and honor how children actually learn.

You crave a more natural, play-aligned way to explore science topics without sacrificing academic integrity.

You need ready-to-use lessons that work inside a traditional classroom—with or without fancy materials.

For the Teacher Who Wants…

  • Lessons that match your classroom rhythm instead of disrupting it.

  • Activities that support fine and gross motor development while meeting academic goals.

  • A clear, flexible plan that works with the materials you already have.

  • A science program that feels like play — but with purpose.

Let’s Lighten the Load; Not Layer It

Designed for calm, intentional pacing

Simple to prep – most materials are things you already have in your classroom or can grab from nature.

No chaotic cramming before a Kinder placement exam.

Engaging for students – no lectures, no long passages (they are 4 and 5 after all)—just meaningful exploration.

Matches your classroom rhythm

Built with play + standards in mind – perfect for the teacher walking the line between inquiry and objectives.

A Note from Tina

I was tired of trying to force science into tiny windows of time and making it feel disconnected. These lessons grew from real classroom moments, real questions from students, and my belief that science should be rooted in play, nature, and curiosity.

I didn’t create this curriculum to impress anyone.

I built it because I was once the teacher crying after school, exhausted from doing it all “right” and still feeling like it wasn’t enough. I didn’t need another program to juggle.

I needed something that helped me reconnect with my students, my classroom, and myself. This curriculum is that support. A quiet shift. A more natural rhythm. A reminder that science can be simple, joyful, and rooted in curiosity again.

I hope it gives you what I wish I had back then: permission to do things differently, beautifully, gently, and still on purpose.

With you in the messy middle, Tina

🐛 From the Field

My kids are obsessed with science time now. They’re exploring, asking questions, and I don’t even have to push—it just flows

*K Teacher, TX

I finally found a curriculum that feels like me. I don’t have to reinvent the wheel or water things down. It’s thoughtful, doable, and so much fun.

*TK Educator, CA

For years, science always came last—if I had time, if the kids were settled, if everything else was done. But this curriculum reminded me that science isn’t extra. It’s essential. *Primary Teacher, OR

Built to Fit the Way You Already Teach,

Just a Bit More Peacefully

Imagine…
Starting Monday with a theme that your students can’t stop talking about. Watching them carry the day’s discoveries into art, block play, writing, and even the playground. Ending the week with a reflection that shows not just what they learned — but how much they loved learning it.

That’s what happens when science is rooted in wonder.
